Meagan Frazier Recognized as CASA of the Highland Rim's Champion for Children

Meagan has been honored as the "Champion for Children" by CASA of the Highland Rim, recognizing her significant contributions to the organization she founded in Dickson County. Under her leadership, CASA has expanded to serve Stewart and Hickman Counties, providing essential advocacy for children in foster care.

Meagan’s dedication and vision have positively impacted countless lives, and her efforts continue to ensure that every child in the program has a voice. This award not only acknowledges her commitment but also emphasizes the ongoing need for community involvement in supporting vulnerable children.

Pick Tennessee Products Gears Up for Fair

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture is thrilled to announce the return of the Pick Tennessee Products Experience at the 2024 Wilson County-Tennessee State Fair.

Visitors can shop for a variety of Tennessee-made goods, including foods, beverages, and crafts, at the Pick Tennessee Store. The experience also features daily agricultural demonstrations, food samples, and interactive learning activities for all ages.

Rep. Esther Helton-Hayes Visits Chattanooga Clinic to Discuss Enhancing Mental Health Services

Our clients were honored to welcome Representative Helton-Hayes to their Chattanooga clinic, where they engaged in a productive discussion on critical healthcare issues. The conversation focused on enhancing school-based services, addressing unmet mental health needs in Hamilton County, and improving DCS and foster care services.

Rep. Helton-Hayes, a nurse by profession and a dedicated member of the Health Committee, strongly supports the mission to provide top-quality behavioral health services to Tennesseans. Her insights and advocacy are invaluable as we work together to meet the growing mental health needs across the state.

Gov. Lee Announces Tennessee’s First Major League Baseball Game

Governor Bill Lee has announced that Tennessee will host its first-ever Major League Baseball game, the MLB Speedway Classic, on August 2, 2025, at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves will play in this historic event, marking the first National or American League game in the state.

This landmark event is supported by Tennessee’s Special Event Fund and is expected to boost the state’s economy while celebrating its rich sports and cultural heritage. Don't miss this unique opportunity to witness MLB history in Tennessee!

Centerstone hosted Sen Hensley at our Hohenwald clinic

Much of the conversation was dedicated to school based therapy services and the mental health needs of TN’s children and adolescents.  Relatedly, Sen Hensley was familiar with ACEs and shared his concern with early childhood traumas impacting children’s health into adulthood.

The group also engaged in a discussion about Centerstone’s efforts to work with local mental health and drug courts in an effort to provide increased access to much needed mental health services.

Additionally, Sen Hensley was interested in Centerstone’s expansion of MAT services in Lawrenceburg and Pulaski, and Hohenwald.
